National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology was established on 15th August 1960 as a joint venture of Government of India and the Government of Bihar in the chain of REC’s (Regional Engineering College) in India with the aim to generate technical graduates of highest standards who could provide technological leadership to the region. It was among the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) established as part of the Second Five-Year Plan (1956 – 1961).
Research Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Department: Electrical Engineering
Title of the project: Practical Implementation of Non Fragile Sliding Mode Controller based Non-Isolated Universal Onboard Battery Charger for Electric Vehicle
Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M. Tech./ M.E. in Power Electronics/ Control System/ Electrical Machines and Drives / Power System / Energy System or equivalent with minimum 60% marks at both B.E./ B. Tech. and M.E./M. Tech.
Project Duration: 3 months or till the termination of the project earlier.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (+ HRA as per norms) per month
