About the Role
WMG Research Finance (part of the University Finance Office) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the post of Research finance assistant to support a wide range of activities in the department.
You will have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a good use of initiative and have the ability to prioritise. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work co-operatively and effectively are essential.
About You
You will be educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent, with relevant experience in finance administration in the Higher Education sector and possess a high level of IT literacy.
You will be an organised person who can work independently and as part of a team.

Location
- This role will be campus-based. However, staff can opt to work under the Finance Office's current hybrid working policy where a maximum of 40% of time (2 days per week if full-time) can be worked remotely. This is subject to review and operational requirements.
- Whilst in the induction phase you’ll be required to work 100% in the office. Further details are available on request or at interview stage.
