To prepare reports for funding agencies and to ensure timely submissions and compliance with appropriate agencies. To oversee collection and management of data in research activities including quality control and assurance of data integrity. To maintain knowledge of current trends and development of policies and procedures as well as standard operating procedures for research activities. Key Duties& Responsibilities Facilitates the management, administration and coordination of one or more complex research and training programs under the direction of the investigator/s. Administers and provides oversight of grant program including program budget, marketing compliance and reporting. Assists in financial management of site studies and participates in development and execution of budget and service agreements with other institutions and/or service providers. Prepares reports with PI for funding agencies. Prepares, submits and manages regulatory documents and ensures compliance as well as accurate and timely submissions with regulatory agencies. Maintains knowledge of current trends and development of policies and procedures for research activities. Maintains and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures. Manages collection of data in research activities including quality control and assurance of data integrity. May include clinical research activities. May ensure accurate and timely Institutional Review Board for Human Use (IRB) submissions and compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Grant or financial experience (UAB experience preferred) Salary Range : $45,395 - $73,770 Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Minimum hiring rate must meet the most current FLSA guidelines for salary level and basis to remain exempt .
