Your next career opportunity
As a Research Grants Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting academics with post-award administration of research funding. You will have the opportunity to liaise with research funders, plan and oversee complex tasks, and provide high-quality advice to stakeholders. This role offers you the chance to work flexibly across teams, engage with internal and external parties, and contribute to the University's research excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Post-Award Support: Execute processes to accept funded research grants, ensuring compliance and high-quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate Communication: Coordinate between funders and researchers to ensure timely action and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Deliver Training and Seminars: Organise workshops and seminars to support researchers' development and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain Data Integrity and Record Management: Accurately enter data and manage research records to support performance analysis and reporting.

You may also:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Have strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder relationship management.
  • Exhibit good judgement and initiative in undertaking tasks independently.
  • Thrive in a changing and dynamic environment with the ability to interpret complex policies.
