Offer Description
We are seeking a leading specialist to steer and develop Turku University of Applied Sciences' new Emergency Care and Comprehensive Security Research Group.
Become the lead of Turku University of Applied Sciences' new Emergency Care and Comprehensive Security Research Group to establish the group's operations and develop future expertise!
You will serve as a Chief Advisor and Senior Researcher in emergency care and comprehensive security. You will lead and develop the new Emergency Care and Comprehensive Security Research Group, which operates within the Faculty of Health and Well-being at Turku UAS. You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and strengthening of the impact of the research, development and innovation (RDI) activities of the research group.

- The position requires a doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Good collaboration and interaction skills as well as excellent English language skills are required in the position.

OTHER INFORMATION
- In this position, the work must be carried out in Finland.
- Your job title will be Chief Advisor.
- The position is fixed-term (1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028) and is related to the start-up phase of a new research group. The aim is to establish the research group as a successful part of Turku UAS's research and development activities. The possibility of making the position permanent will be assessed later based on the achievement of targets and the development of operations.
- The position is subject to a six-month probationary period.
