The Setty Lab [setty-lab.org] at Fred Hutch is a computational biology lab focused on developing computational tools and methods for analysis of high throughput single-cell genomics data. We work in extensive collaborative partnerships with bench scientists to tackle questions related to cellular differentiation, lineage decisions, regulatory mechanisms, tumorigenesis and emergence of metastasis.

Responsibilities

• Asynchronous Programming: Design efficient async data pipelines connecting web interfaces to HPC-hosted datasets
• Large-Scale Data Integration: Interface with massive single-cell data repositories containing millions of cells and thousands of genes

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Motivated undergraduate with an interest in science. The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $29.54 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), and prorated paid holidays (up to 11 days per year).
