Research Lab Technician B (Unit for Experimental Psychiatry)

A research assistant is needed to support Dr. Mathias Basner's federally sponsored projects with NASA. The RA will schedule and contact study subjects; prepare and submit manuscripts; prepare IRB proposals, amendments and resubmissions; order lab supplies; configure and ship equipment. Assist investigators with data backup, quality control and analysis.

A research assistant is needed to support Dr. Mathias Basner's federally sponsored projects with NASA and an FAA airport field study on the effects of noise on sleep. The RA will schedule and contact study subjects; prepare and submit manuscripts; prepare IRB proposals, amendments and resubmissions; order lab supplies; configure and ship equipment. Assist investigators with data backup, quality control and analysis.

The RA may also be asked to monitor subjects in laboratory studies on sleep and confinement as needed. Work schedule may vary according to study needs.

Position contingent upon funding.

Qualifications: High School diploma and 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
