Offer Description
LE STUDIUM Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies is a recognised public-interest organisation whose aim is to promote the internationalisation of research in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France by hosting international researchers and organising international meetings that facilitate international scientific exchanges and the establishment of networks and projects. As part of its programmes, LE STUDIUM recruits, selects and hosts around forty experienced researchers each year, covering the full range of scientific disciplines, and organises scientific events of international scope in collaboration with research partners in the region (universities, CNRS, INRAE, Inserm, BRGM, INSA, etc.).
The internship(s) on offer, which are between three and six months in duration, will start from September 2026.
MISSION
Under the supervision of the Scientific Manager and the Secretary-General, the role of the Research Management intern is to monitor STUDIUM’s programmes in general and to support the development of new European projects. This involves actively contributing to the implementation of the institute’s strategy at national, European and international levels: monitoring ongoing activities, identifying calls for proposals, organising contacts and meetings with partners, helping to draft proposals and set up projects, and to prepare presentations.
The candidate must be willing to work in an interdisciplinary scientific environment.
TASKS (non-exhaustive list)
- Researching information and calls for proposals
- Identifying international partners
- Establishing contact with partners
- Helping to draft and format proposals (activities and budgets)
- Identifying and establishing contact with scientific evaluators across all disciplines.
- Maintaining monitoring tables
- Liaising with Le Studium Fellows
- Monitoring and archiving scientific outputs (reports, publications, patents, presentations, etc.)
- Identifying promotional opportunities for Le Studium scientific events

Skills/Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Minimum qualification: a three- or five-year degree
- Good knowledge of the research sector
- Interest in science and innovation
- Very good command of English (written and spoken)
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to monitor projects
- Ability to work on a project basis and as part of a team
- Good command of IT tools
PERSONAL SKILLS
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively
- An open-minded and curious attitude
- Organised, meticulous, proactive and dynamic.
