Research Manager, Department of Anesthesiology

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Research Manager to oversee and guide research that leads to work products within the University of Cincinnati’s agenda.
Essential Functions
- Develop a research agenda using appropriate analytical approaches, models, and methods; translate research results into timely and relevant policy recommendations.
- Coordinate and assist in the development of external funding proposals.
- Manage, oversee, plan, and conduct research; manage daily activities, including project development, data collection and data analysis.
- Assist with the dissemination of research findings and maintain systems for tracking project-related presentations, publications, and other outputs.
- Write and publish white papers, conference reports, opinion articles, blogs and policy briefs.
- Ensure adherence to institutional, federal, and sponsor-specific guidelines concerning human subjects and research integrity.
- Organize research documentation, coordinate meetings, and facilitate communication among research teams.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences or related field.
Required Experience
Four (4) years of experience in an academic, government, or private-sector research, staff, and/or administrative position.
