We are seeking a Research MRI Radiographer to join our team, to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis.

The role
The post of Research MRI Radiographer at the Mireille Gillings Neuroimaging Centre (MGNC) will contribute to extending the research profile of Medical Imaging at Exeter and support research projects from within the University and external study team.
The post will include supporting the day-to-day research scanning activities including but not limited to, sequence development, set-up and function of additional equipment (fMRI tools, physiological recording) maintaining MRI safety, data transfer and quality assurance, contributing to study development and reporting faults/overseeing servicing of equipment. The post will require CPD and training sessions to maintain fitness to practice including GCP and ILS training as well as study specific training activities.
About you
For a Research MRI Radiographer post you will have:
- A BSc/MSc or equivalent in Radiography
- Registration with the HCPC and Society of Radiographers or equivalent
- Experience of working in MRI as a qualified radiographer or equivalent
- Knowledge of GCP, Research Governance, Imaging Anatomy and Physiology as well as technical knowledge of scanners and sequences for trouble shooting
- Good interpersonal skills for patient/subject care and ability to liaise with a range of other professionals on technical issues
- DBS checks will be required
