Research Nurse (MAMA Trial)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research nurse to join the team at Oxford Vaccine Group, University of Oxford. You will work autonomously to deliver a single trial, taking responsibility for the trial management from the budget through to the sample collection. You will be working closely with a Play and Admin Assistant and will be responsible for the support and line management or supervision for that individual.

Visits will take place across the UK (expected to be England and Wales primarily), in family homes.

The post is 0.5 full-time equivalent and requires flexibility in working days and hours to maximise sample collection. The post is fixed-term to 1 March 2029.

If interested, there may be the possibility for the successful candidate to increase the FTE, working as a Research Nurse across multiple projects in addition to this MAMA Trial,  please mention this in your cover letter if you would like this possibility.

About the department

The Department of Paediatrics encourages staff to develop their skills by offering all staff ten paid days of professional development each year. About You

You must be highly experienced in infant venipuncture.

Driving licence and use of car, or ability to travel (independently), for attending community visits is a necessity.
