Research Project Assistant
Position Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Assistant for the Center for Population Behavioral Health within the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research (IFH).
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Communicates and collaborates with the study team to maintain involvement in all facets of the research project.
- Supports ongoing research projects involving participant recruitment, and data collection.
- Performs the primary role of participant recruitment and screening, obtaining consent, coordinating study schedules, conducting data collection, and related administrative tasks related to data collection.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in social sciences (e.g., Psychology, Public Health) and direct patient experience (e.g., behavioral health settings).
Equipment Utilized
- Ability to operate a computerized tablet (e.g., ipad) to screen individuals for eligibility.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must have access to a daily car to conduct study recruitment at dispensary sites, and travel to participant's residence to assist with data collection.
Special Conditions
- Must have availability on some evenings and weekends.
- Clean Driving Record.
