Research Project Coordinator II
Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Coordinator II for the Department of Psychiatry within the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research. This position is also affiliated with the Krieger Klein Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, a hub for interdisciplinary research on Alzheimer's disease and related cognitive disorders. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team conducting cutting-edge studies on aging and cognitive health.The Research Project Coordinator II will work directly with Dr. Luciana Mascarenhas Fonseca, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Rutgers University, within the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research and the Krieger Klein Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. The successful candidate will play a key role on ongoing and developing research investigating the interplay between longitudinal cognitive outcomes and Alzheimer's disease in adults with Down syndrome.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Participates in the lab meetings.
- Conducts research with human participants.
- Maintains study records.
- Updates databases.
- Attends trainings.
- Collaborates on manuscripts.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Public Health or related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Special Conditions:
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to participant's home, or community centers if required.
- Clean Driving Record.
Salary:
Maximum is $75,000/year.
