Research Project Coordinator or Senior Research Project Coordinator - Workplace PROSPER
Job Details
The University of Maryland School of Social Work is seeking a full-time Research Project Coordinator OR Senior Research Project Coordinator to support the Workplace PROSPER program, an interdisciplinary initiative focused on public health, workforce well-being, and harm reduction. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day implementation of a Maryland Department of Health–funded ACCESS grant, including workplace overdose prevention training, naloxone distribution, employer outreach, and operational tracking.
Primary Duties - Research Project Coordinator
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for workplace overdose prevention, ACCESS grant implementation, and ORP-related initiatives.
- Manage and maintain naloxone inventory systems.
- Implement and coordinate training logistics and delivery.
- Develop and support employer and community partner engagement.
- Conduct worksite visits and follow-up activities.
- Prepare and maintain operational tracking systems and enter data using Microsoft 365, REDCap.
Primary Duties - Senior Research Project Coordinator
- Independently manages day-to-day operational activities and serves as primary liaison.
- Oversees logistics for training and delivery.
- Manages research and evaluation activities.
- Oversees IRB submissions and compliance activities.
- Assists in budget development, expenditure adherence, grant applications.
Qualifications
Research Project Coordinator: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. At least one (1) year of relevant experience preferred.
Senior Research Project Coordinator: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Two (2) years of research coordination experience with at least one (1) year relevant professional experience.
