Project Support Office at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, provides faculty researchers with administrative consultation and assistance in searching for grant opportunities, submitting project applications, and managing the budgets of scientific projects.
What you will do
- Contribute to increasing the faculty's success in prestigious grant competitions and strengthen project support for researchers from the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University in international grant calls (especially Horizon Europe)
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals for international research projects
- Provide information services for researchers and individual consultations in the area of grant strategy
- Search for and connect suitable candidates with individual international grant calls
- Communicate with project providers and partners during the project preparation phase and negotiate contracts for approved projects
- Participate in training, workshops, and information days on project calls and schemes
Who we are looking for
- University education (education in the field of natural sciences may be an advantage)
- Experience in preparing or managing research projects (experience with Horizon Europe projects is a great advantage)
- Very good level of spoken and written English
- Ability to formulate texts with a very good level of stylistics
- Proactive approach, excellent communication skills, ability to negotiate with foreign partners, organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new things
