Position Overview

Biochemistry is hiring a temporary one-month position as a Research Scholar to investigate the inhibition of the MESH1 enzyme and genetic manipulation of E. coli and Pseudomonas strains for investigations of novel antibiotics.

Minimum Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field
• Demonstrated expertise in MESH1 biochemistry, enzymology, and bacterial genetics

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments with MESH1 enzyme
• Genetic manipulation of E. coli and Pseudomonas
• Contribute to lab upkeep and assist other lab members with gene expression analyses
