Position Summary

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The FPG Child Development Institute is seeking a Research Scientist with substantial implementation expertise. The position will serve on a project to implement and evaluate an evidence-based intervention on using data to match instruction for students’ needs. Responsibilities include completing fidelity observations, supporting observations and analyses for interrater reliability, attending team meetings, supporting survey data collection, and supporting data analysis and dissemination efforts. The position will also become a member of The National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) at FPG.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required; for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, will accept a relevant Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience. May require terminal degree and licensure.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly; working knowledge of implementation science, technical assistance strategies, applied research methodologies, and statistical analyses; highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to work in a team and independently; prior experience with coding processes for fidelity via observation.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in K-12 Education, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Prevention Science, Implementation Science, or related fields; advanced knowledge of applied research methodologies; prior experience with dissemination of academic work.
