💰 Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year + full health insurance benefits

I’m thrilled to share that Materials Nova, a UT-Austin spin-off, has received a new NIH grant!

With this support, we’re expanding our team and seeking a Research Scientist/Postdoctoral Fellow passionate about innovative and real-world useful water treatment and sensing technologies.

You’ll work with access to state-of-the-art facilities and opportunities to work closely with Prof. D. Emma Fan's group and other top research groups across UT-Austin.

About the Role

You will help drive our NIH-funded research advancing next-generation clean water and sensing systems through:

• Materials fabrication & characterization
• Water purification & biochemical sensing
• Optoelectronic & device prototyping
• Research documentation & publication & patent application

Ideal Candidate

Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering

Demonstrated excellence in experimental research and publication

Strong skills in research writing and communication

Career aspirations in academia, national labs, and technology innovation

U.S. work authorization preferred
