Research Technician to work under guidance from the Principal Investigator (PI) to develop and implement image analysis algorithms; assists with application of image analysis tools to microscopy images; write progress reports and summarizes results; performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience required; 4 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with High School diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with Associate's Degree, or 0 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with Bachelor's Degree. Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge to research required.

Desired:

1-2 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics preferred. Experience with high resolution microscopy methods, especially confocal microscopy.

Additional Information: The target hiring range for this job profile is $19.28 - $25.19 per hour, paid biweekly. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
