We are seeking two Research Software Engineers to join the ScholarAI project, each bringing a strong foundation across frontend, backend, and AI integration, with individual strengths in either UI/UX design or backend architecture. Both developers must have hands-on experience with React and Next.js, solid design sensibilities, and the ability to build intuitive, high-quality user interfaces. On the backend, candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency in PHP frameworks and Python, with deep knowledge of AI technologies and experience integrating AI services into scalable, component-based systems. These roles require versatility, creativity, and a collaborative mindset, as you will help shape a cutting-edge product from its early stages. These positions are funded by Research Ireland under the ARC Hub for ICT and represent a unique opportunity to work on a cutting edge platform with real-world impact.

Salary (2026): €54,851 p.a.

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
