Posted Job Title Research Specialist A/B Job Profile Title Research Specialist A Job Description Summary Under supervision, this individual will be part of the Human Pancreas Analysis Program (HPAP) to provide support to projects focusing on profiling molecular changes that occur in the human endocrine pancreas in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. He/she will perform experiments including tissue culture, FACS, next generation sequencing library preps and single cell genomics for the analysis of changes in these disease tissues. This individual will work very closely with senior members of the group to accomplish these tasks. Other duties may be assigned. In addition, an applicant hired for the position of Research Specialist B will be expected to work more independently, and also perform some data analysis functions. - Tissue Culture work
- Spatial Transcriptomics
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
