Research Specialist A
Job Description Summary
This is a position for Research Specialist, Level A, with a purpose to investigate the pathogenic mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders using mouse as a model organism. The primary function of this position includes functional characterization of genetically modified mice carrying disease-related mutations using molecular, cellular, imaging and genomic approaches, such as immunohistochemistry, genomic profiling and confocal microscopy. Other duties include breeding, genotyping and management of mouse colonies. Position contingent upon funding.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Pay Range
$44,500.00 - $50,000.00 Annual Rate. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
