Research Specialist - Temporary

This temporary, part-time Research Specialist position (10–15 hours per week) provides technical support for molecular and cellular biology research.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include sample preparation, nucleic acid extraction, PCR and qPCR, and DNA/RNA quantification. The technician will also maintain lab records and databases, keep reagents and supplies organized, and help keep day-to-day lab operations running smoothly. Working from established protocols, they'll assist with data collection and support the broader research team – including investigators, students, and staff.

Qualifications

MA in a relevant discipline or AB/BS with 2 years' experience.
