Offer Description
Background Requirements (including but not limited to):
Mechanics, Materials Science, Biology, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and related interdisciplinary fields.
Research Interests
- Design and Fabrication of Intelligent Materials
By deeply integrating solid mechanics and soft matter science, we are committed to developing intelligent biomaterials that precisely recapitulate the unique mechanical microenvironment of native tissues. Through in-depth biomechanical analyses, we strive to decipher how physical properties of materials—such as stiffness, viscoelasticity, and surface topography—direct cell fate, thereby establishing an efficient “material–cell” mechanical dialogue at the microscale. - Design and Manufacturing of Smart Structures
Drawing inspiration from nature, we design complex biomimetic structures that replicate the multi-hierarchical topological features of native tissues. By combining cutting-edge biofabrication technologies such as 3D/4D printing and microfluidics, we transform intelligent materials into high-precision tissue engineering scaffolds. Through structural mechanics analysis, we systematically investigate the “scaffold–tissue” interactions under dynamic loading conditions, constructing an ideal biomimetic mechanical environment for damaged tissues. - Development and Translation of Intelligent Medical Devices
Building upon fundamental research in materials and mechanical structures, we actively incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven technologies to develop intelligent medical devices and instruments capable of mechanical sensing, dynamic responsiveness, and smart intervention. Our goal is to bridge the gap from bench to bedside, delivering precise and personalized medical solutions for patients.
