Offer Description
Research support technician (Data Manager, Neurosurgery)
Degree in Physics, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering or a related subject.
Master’s degree in Clinical Research, Biomedical Data Management, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Computing, Health Data Science or a closely related field.
- Design, configuration, validation and maintenance of the electronic data collection form and the study database, preferably using REDCap or an equivalent platform.
- Data management and quality control, including checking for completeness and consistency, resolving discrepancies and following up on missing data.
- Anonymisation, organisation and secure transfer of biological samples, clinical data, intraoperative data, histopathological data and radiological data, including MRI/DICOM files.
- Support in the acquisition, organisation and classification of intraoperative images, radiological studies and surgical specimens, in accordance with the procedures set out in the study protocol.
- Preparation of clean, structured databases for statistical analysis.
- Support for the operational coordination of the study, including communication with participating centres, monitoring adherence to the protocol, support with ethical/regulatory documentation, participation in meetings, and the preparation of reports or materials related to the project.
