Research Technician

Position Summary

This Research Technician position is a temporary role, within the laboratory of Dr. Daniel Dominguez, will engage in diverse aspects of RNA biology, with a focus on RNA-binding and regulatory mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders. In this role, the selected candidate will manage and organize experimental protocols, maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and analysis records, contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and figures, and collaborate closely with members of the Dominguez Lab to support ongoing research projects.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Management Preferences

• Experience with protein purification
• Prior experience in an academic or research laboratory setting
• Familiarity with RNA biology or related research areas
• Familiarity with or demonstrated ability to engage with published studies from the Dominguez Lab
• Experience in standard laboratory techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, or molecular cloning
