About the Lab
The Rudensky Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center studies the molecular mechanisms governing the differentiation and function of lymphocytes and their role in immunity and tolerance. The lab’s work is focused on advancing understanding of immune regulation in health and disease.
About the Role
The Research Technician will support ongoing research focused on immunology and cancer biology, working closely with lab members to execute experiments and maintain critical lab operations. This role offers exposure to a wide range of techniques and the opportunity to contribute to impactful research in a fast-paced academic environment.
We are ideally seeking candidates who can commit to 2–3 years, with a preference for a 3-year commitment.

What You’ll Do
- Perform general mouse husbandry, including genotyping, embryo preservation, rederivation, tissue sectioning, and transcardial perfusion.
- Manage complex mouse colonies, including maintaining census, ordering, and coordinating with collaborators
- Support lab members with experiments using immunological and molecular biology techniques (imaging, flow cytometry, library prepation, PCR, cloning, etc.).
- Analyze and organize research data.
- Participate in lab meetings and review scientific literature.
- Assist with lab organization and general operational support.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field required
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a research laboratory
- Experience working with animal models preferred
