"Research Technician"

The College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University is seeking applications for a Research Technician. This position functions as a research technician and performs a variety of duties based on the needs of the research project. The candidate will work under the direction and supervision of a faculty member or senior research staff. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: conducting laboratory experiments; performing data entry into spreadsheets or databases; organizing and analyzing research or statistical data; conducting literature reviews; assisting in the preparation of manuscripts and presentations; maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies; supporting training or guidance of student assistants; and performing additional research-related tasks as assigned by supervising personnel or defined by the projects funding source.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. 1 year of relevant experience required.

Desired Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology, molecular & cellular biology, immunology, or related fields.
