Job Description Summary: The Research Technician will be involved in performing routine laboratory techniques, inventory, and animal colony maintenance in Dr. Gregory Gan research lab. This individual will be involved in the scientific research work in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Research Program at University of Kansas Medical Center.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain research study support areas/benches
- Maintain records in an accurate and legible manner
- Order lab supplies
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of research lab equipment
- Participate or assist in the conduct of studies under the direction of lab staff
- Perform regulated lab activities under the direction of the lab staff
Required Qualifications: 2 years of work experience as a research technician. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Experience setting up, operating and maintain the lab equipment in lab of translational physician scientist
Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in science or related field

Pay Range: $21.06 - $27.40 Hourly
