Job Summary

The Research Technician will assist in biochemical research and the expression of amphibian proteins.

Essential Job Duties

• Cloning, expression, and purification of recombinant proteins.
• Conduct biophysical assays and spectroscopic analyses.
• Assist with general lab duties, media preparation, autoclaving, and protein purification.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field required by date of hire.
• Must have experience working with recombinant proteins.
• Must have experience working with amphibians (i.e., frogs).
• Must have hands-on wet lab experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Hiring Range

$19.00 - $25.75 Per Hour

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
