Education/Skills Requirements High School or GED equivalent A valid drivers license and the ability to meet the requirements of the Colleges Motor Vehicle Use Policy Merchant Mariner Credential – National Master of Self-Propelled vessels less than 100 GRT or can obtain by 7/1/2025 Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to the teams operations and goals Detail-oriented: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of logs, operations, reports, and other documents Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapting to changes and managing plans and priorities Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents 3 to 5 years of experience in a charter boat captain capacity highly preferred Vessel operating experience in Casco Bay, Maine highly preferred Standard Work Days and Hours This is a casual, part-time, non-benefit eligible position working less than 19 hours/week. The busy season is between May – November. There may be requirement to work evenings, weekend and holidays.
