DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
A person applying for this position must meet the requirements set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended), in the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW Department VIII)
The candidate should hold at least a Master’s degree in health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical sciences or biological sciences, and be able to deliver lectures in Polish and English. Knowledge of human health issues, including the performance of biochemical analyses and the interpretation of their results in assessing nutritional status, is desirable. Knowledge of basic food analysis methods is an advantage
Requirements for candidates:
- the ability to carry out biochemical analyses using spectrophotometric and chromatographic (HPLC) methods,
- good command of spoken and written Polish and English, sufficient to deliver lectures;
- computer literacy in MS Office and statistical software (e.g. STATISTICA, STATA).
- documented academic achievements consistent with the unit’s profile, in the form of publications in reputable scientific journals, are viewed favourably;
- documented work experience in an analytical laboratory or a research unit is welcome;
- experience in delivering teaching sessions is desirable
