The researcher will be assigned to the Institute of Integrative Cell Biology (I2BC) on the CNRS campus in Gif-sur-Yvette. The I2BC is a joint research unit of the CNRS (UMR 9198), the CEA, and Paris-Saclay University, comprising nearly 650 people across 43 research teams and 17 high-tech platforms. The researcher will be part of the Department of Microbiology within the Cyanobacteria Biology and Biotechnology team, which consists of two researchers, one associate professor, one emeritus researcher, and one doctoral student.

Eligibility criteria
Molecular biology, expertise in DNA cloning, microbiology, and the cultivation of photosynthetic microorganisms. Expertise in the genetics and physiology of cyanobacteria. Strong background in biochemistry. Good written and oral communication skills in English.
