Are you passionate about Augmented Reality, geospatial technologies, programming, and innovative solutions?
We are looking for a motivated Researcher to join the GeoTech – Applied Geotechnologies Research Group at the University of Vigo and contribute to an exciting research project focused on the development of next-generation tools for infrastructure monitoring and safety.
Research activities
The successful candidate will work on:
- Design and implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) graphical interfaces for the visualization and management of geospatial data.
- Integration of geospatial data and interactive visualization technologies.
- Testing and validation of the developed applications.
Position details
- Contract duration: Initial 6-month contract, extendable up to 3 years (with the possibility for a predoctoral contract).
- Contract type: Full-time.
- Salary: €1,810 gross/month.

Candidate profile
We are looking for a higher technician, engineer, or equivalent, with the following qualifications:
- Academic background related to Informatics, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Candidates currently pursuing a Master's degree are also welcome to apply.
- Programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python and/or C#.
- Experience working with GIS and/or Unity.
