About the Research Group: A-PECS
The A-PECS research group focuses on advanced electrochemical sensing technologies. This position will involve developing novel microneedle-based electrochemical biosensing strategies, with applications in:
- Plant monitoring (in planta measurements, sap analysis)
- Health monitoring (interstitial fluid analysis)
Position Overview
The postdoctoral researcher will:
- Develop high-quality electrochemical analysis strategies using microneedles
- Initiate and lead new research projects aligned with A-PECS strategic goals
- Produce academic publications and reports
- Contribute to grant writing and securing national/international funding
- Supervise PhD students and team members
- Participate in teaching and academic service as required
- Explore the market potential of research outputs
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- PhD in material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioscience engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong academic record with publications in high-impact journals
- Excellent English communication skills
- Highly motivated, independent, and collaborative
Desirable:
- Expertise in bio- or photoelectrochemical sensor development
