Offer Description
The post is for a six-year period. The annual gross salary is about 50.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Chemical Foundations of Technologies:
Required research duties: The research activity will focus on topics characterizing the SSD CHEM-06/A (Chemical Foundations of Technologies) and in particular on the preparation and characterization of innovative photocatalytic materials (metal oxides, MOF/COF, organic/inorganic hybrids) for the green synthesis of industrially relevant chemicals, for the production of energy vectors such as hydrogen peroxide, and for the development of photoelectrochemical cells, with specific reference to applicative, mechanistic and computational issues.
Required teaching duties: The teaching activity, in line with the annual teaching plan of the Department of Industrial Engineering, will concern the delivery of courses consistent with the disciplinary area covered by the call or related sectors, in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs pertaining to the Department of Industrial Engineering or other educational initiatives activated by the University. It may also include courses in English related to the research activity carried out. The teaching commitment of the contract holder is defined by the Council of the Department of Industrial Engineering during the planning phase of teaching activities, in accordance with the specific regulations of the University of Trento.
Foreign language required: excellent level of English;
Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching load (the researcher is required to teach in Italian);
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12;
Hours of work: full time.
