Offer Description
In line with the scope of the GIUR-17/A scientific-disciplinary sector, the research will examine the ethical and IT-legal issues connected with the development, adoption and use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence systems, with particular attention to their impact on fundamental rights and freedoms. It will explore algorithmic regulation and governance models, analysing the legal implications of automated and AI systems in terms of transparency, accountability, non-discrimination, personal data protection, cybersecurity and the protection of individual and collective rights. The research will also consider recent developments in the national, European and international regulatory framework, with reference to the AI Act, the GDPR and regulatory initiatives on digital transformation, developing interdisciplinary perspectives aimed at reconciling innovation, sustainability, rights and the common good.
