Job profile:
Your responsibilities:
- Independent research in the field of landscape ecology, with a focus on spatial processes, ecological legacies or human–environment interactions, including the publication of high-quality scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in Ecology, Geography, Landscape Ecology, Remote Sensing, Environmental history or a related discipline
- Strong international publication record and demonstrated experience in scientific publishing
- Research interest in long-term human–environment interactions, historical ecology and/or remote sensing
- Technical affinity and willingness to engage with and quantitative research approaches
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of German or willingness to further develop German language skills
- Ability to work in a team, independence and high communicative competence
