Researcher Monitoring Sustainable Mobility
Job Summary: As a Researcher Monitoring Sustainable Mobility at RVO, you will help visualize the transport behavior of Dutch citizens and assist policymakers in making choices that contribute to more sustainable transport. RVO implements policy for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, focusing on themes like electric transport, hydrogen, logistics, and shipping. You will work in a team covering all forms of transport, from bicycles to container ships.
Responsibilities: Conduct data analysis to monitor trends and developments in sustainable mobility. Prepare reports that align with current policy questions and client needs, considering available data and its implications. Monitor developments in the vehicle market, charging infrastructure, and progress of subsidy schemes. Develop data products or reports, follow innovations in tooling and consider their practical implications for colleagues. Account for various interests and connect them. Work on products like the 'Dashboard for Sustainable Mobility', trend reports on light and heavy transport, and monitoring of the second-hand market.
Qualifications and Requirements: You must have a completed university education. At least 1 year of experience with quantitative data and data processing tools such as SAS and/or Python. Proficiency in creating dashboards and reports. Several years of experience in leading projects. Affinity with data governance and innovative developments. You should perform careful data analysis, ensure information is complete and accurate, and use data to improve work processes and policy. Actively think about the role of data in the organization, develop reports or dashboards independently, and collaborate effectively by seeking alignment and utilizing colleagues' knowledge.
What the Employer Offers: Salary scale 12: €4,691 to €6,907 gross per month. A temporary employment contract for 1 year with the prospect of indefinite duration. Working hours: 28-36 hours per week. In addition to salary, you receive an individual choice budget (IKB) of 16.5% of your gross annual salary, which can be used for extra income, leave, or tax-friendly purposes.
