Kyoto University has striven to develop the Hakubi Project to foster and support early-career researchers since 2009.
With the aim of fostering individuals who will play active roles as world-class researchers and lead the next generation of academic research at Kyoto University, we are promoting initiatives to develop visionary researchers who will lead the next generation.
The 17th call for applications for the Hakubi project is open now and we are seeking outstanding researchers for our project.
- Target Fields: All fields, from basic to applied
- Eligibility Requirements: Doctoral degree or its equivalent
- Number of Positions:
Program-specific assistant professor: Approximately 15,
Program-specific associate professors or program-specific junior associate professors: Approximately 5 - Research Budget: Maximum 4 million yen annually
