Researcher - Problem Species and Territory (ESPROTER)

• The main task is to assess the relationship between residents of a specific area in Périgord and species considered problematic: invasive species and species likely to cause damage.
• A science-society mediation scheme must also be established to involve residents in the nature policies implemented by the local authority;
• Local experience must be translated into a replicable methodological approach.
• Surveys and interviews;
• Processing of survey data, textual analysis;
• Graphical representation of results;
• Production of original images of the area;
• GIS, cartography;
• Presentations, animations and public engagement;
• Dissemination of results.
• The successful candidate will work at the CNRS laboratory, UMR 5319 PASSAGES, located at Maison des Suds, Esplanade des Antilles in PESSAC, on the Bordeaux Montaigne Campus.
• Regular travel to and stays in Périgord region will be required.
