Compensation
Annual salary: 4 million yen - 6 million yen
Wages description: according to NIMS regulations
Working hours: 08:30-17:15
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, and other days designated by the institute
Overtime and other explanations: 7 hours 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week
Deemed working hours when the discretionary labor system is applied are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day.
Employment type: Contract employee
Contract period: Nontenured
Contract period description: One year. (possibly renewable with annual evaluation) (e.g. Date of appointment: 2026/10/1 → Term of office: until 2027/10/31)
Renewal or extension is possible upon annual review, Maximum of 4 renewals.
(However, the maximum period may be subject to change due to revisions in employment regulations, etc.)
Probationary period: Probationary period present
Probationary period description: Two months from the start date of employment

Various systems
Transportation expenses: Yes (if the distance is 2km or more from your home). However, there is an upper limit on the payment amount.

Insurance
Others: Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Worker’s Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements.
