Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Program Director and the Graduate Medical Education Office, the incumbent will support the residency program and residents on all GME. This involves managing and overseeing the training program in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation standards, LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures and other regulatory requirements. The incumbent should have excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others to achieve positive results. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to maintain both academic and personnel records on residents within the program, therefore, the ability to maintain confidential information is also required.

Minimum Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's. Indicate the minimum number of years required to do the job: 2 years. Indicate the type of experience required to do the job: Professional level work experience. Indicate if any combination of specific experience, training and education may be substituted for the required education or experience: Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years professional work experience. TAGME certification can substitute for 1 year.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Education: Master's. Indicate the preferred experience to perform the job: Prior experience in a higher education environment.
