Offer Description

We are improving road safety through the design of the traffic environment. We influence changes to legislation and carry out safety audits and road safety inspections. We are looking for a colleague who understands transport infrastructure and wants to work with us to help shape road safety.

What sort of work can you expect?

You will be involved in the preparation and implementation of field traffic surveys (vehicle speeds, traffic volumes, monitoring the behaviour of road users),
to evaluate and analyse the data collected and draw up proposals for measures to improve safety,
to present accident data graphically in collision diagrams,
focus also on vulnerable road users,
present the results of their work at training sessions and conferences or in the form of specialist articles,
to draft both interim and final reports on projects,
you may travel abroad as part of your involvement in international projects,
once you've settled in, you can also work from home.

What requirements do we have for you?

At least a university degree (ideally in civil engineering with a specialisation in transport),
knowledge of the field of traffic structures – crossing lengths, elements at entrances to the village, safe arrangement of through roads, regulating elements, visibility conditions, etc.,
user knowledge of working with MS Office,
knowledge of English – to participate actively both online and in face-to-face meetings with international partners,
knowledge of fluent Czech necessary,
place of work: Brno.

You will earn bonus points for:

creating simple drawings in AutoCAD,
category B driving licence – active driver.
