Pure Edible Oils is a local, tight-knit company that delivers and collects bulk cooking oil for restaurants and food service businesses across Indianapolis. We’re hiring a full-time Route Delivery Driver to run a set daily route and be the face of PEO to our customers.

A note before you apply

This is a scheduled commercial route position — a regular W-2 driving job with set routes and a fixed schedule. You’ll check in with dispatch and report to our home base each day. It is not flexible, self-directed, or on-demand work, so if that’s what you’re after, this isn’t the right fit.

We’re looking for drivers with verifiable commercial, route, or freight delivery experience in W-2 driving roles. Independent contractor or gig/app-based delivery work does not meet this requirement.

What you’ll do

• Run assigned routes delivering and collecting bulk frying oil for restaurant and food service accounts
• Load, secure, and unload heavy product — must be able to push/pull up to 250 lbs using mechanical equipment
• Build and maintain professional, ongoing relationships with customers on your route
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, management, and customers throughout your shift
• Collect payments and handle basic account questions
• Complete trip logs, delivery reports, and DOT-required documentation accurately
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies

What we’re looking for

• 1+ year of verifiable commercial, route, or freight delivery experience in a W-2 driving role (independent contractor/gig delivery does not qualify)
• Valid driver’s license with a For-Hire endorsement (required — applicants without it won’t be considered)
• Clean driving record — no major violations in the past 3 years
• Comfortable following a structured daily schedule and reporting to a home base each day
• Strong, professional communication — you’ll represent PEO on every stop
• Reliable and on-time, every shift — customers and teammates count on you
• Able to handle sustained physical work in varying weather
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR review, and drug screen
• Employment is contingent on passing a DOT medical exam (physical)
• Able to commute to (or relocate to) Indianapolis, IN 46268 before start date
