- Develop and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures
- Support compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, food safety, and company requirements
- Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and near miss incidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate and deliver safety and job specific training for new and current employees
- Maintain employee training, certification, and safety records
- Assist with emergency procedures, safety drills, meetings, and communications
- Monitor regulatory changes and recommend improvements to company safety programs
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- At least two years of experience in safety, auditing, or training coordination preferred
- Experience in food distribution, transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus
- Knowledge of workplace and transportation safety requirements
- Familiarity with HACCP, SQF, or Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training management systems
- OSHA 30 Hour, HACCP, SQF Practitioner, First Aid, or CPR certification is a plus
