GreenArrow is building something unique. We partner with leading infrastructure services companies across the United States, helping them grow while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit, expertise, and relationships that made them successful. Together, our companies deliver critical electrical and transportation infrastructure projects that keep communities connected, safe, and moving forward.
GreenArrow is looking for a Safety Coordinator to help lead safety across our electrical construction operations. In this role, you'll partner with our VP of Safety to carry out GreenArrow's safety policies and keep our teams compliant with OSHA and electrical safety regulations. You'll spend real time in the field, building trust with foremen, superintendents, and crews, so that safety is something people believe in, not just a policy on paper.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable leading training, conducting investigations, and driving a stronger safety culture day after day.
What You'll Do
Field Safety & Site Operations
- Conduct routine field audits and site inspections, coaching crews on safety in real time.
- Preview upcoming projects to make sure safety needs are identified before work begins.
- Identify ways to reduce workplace injuries and exposure to hazardous conditions.
- Ensure safety equipment is properly inspected and recommend replacements when needed.
Safety Program Administration
- Review, update, and implement safety and security policies aligned with OSHA standards and electrical safety codes.
- Develop and enforce safety programs, including hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, arc flash safety, and emergency response plans.
- Maintain safety compliance platforms (such as Avetta, Building Connected, and ISNetworld) and keep documentation current.
- Track and document safety reports, incidents, and close calls.
Training & Communication
- Lead new hire safety orientation so every team member starts with a clear understanding of our safety expectations.
- Deliver and coordinate training on electrical safety, PPE, LOTO, fall protection, and emergency response.
- Prepare and deliver toolbox talks, safety bulletins, and site-specific safety plans that keep field teams informed and engaged.
Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses; recommend corrective action based on findings and trends.
- Partner with HR and insurance carriers on incident documentation, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work coordination.
- Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance for leadership review.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
