Safety Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our South Dakota / Wyoming team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural operations combined with knowledge of energy industry safety standards. This role is critical in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across agricultural and energy-related operations.
- Provide safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management and operational teams to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices, particularly in agriculture and energy sectors.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role, preferably within agricultural and energy industries.
- Strong understanding of agricultural operations and associated safety challenges.
- Knowledge of energy sector safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments.
- Certification in safety management or related fields is a plus.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
