Offer Description
"Rational development of Deep Eutectic Solvents (DESs) for the selective extraction and recovery of critical metals and components from WEEE. The project integrates molecular design (descriptors, DFT calculations), synthesis and compositional optimization of DESs, physicochemical characterization (NMR, FTIR, DSC/TGA, viscosity, conductivity), and interfacial analysis (XPS, SEM/EDX, TEM). Performance evaluation on real matrices through extraction tests and ICP-OES/MS quantification, electrochemical studies (CV, EIS), and the development of regeneration and recovery protocols. Objectives: structure-property library, operational protocols, mechanistic insights, and a preliminary sustainability assessment to foster the circular recycling of critical raw materials
