Job Summary
This position is for an attendant/desk worker in the SARC.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Cardio room, the Free Weights room, the Arena and Game Room in the Student Activity and Recreation Center.
- Welcome, greet and provide assistance to facility users, ensuring all guests scan in and/or have the appropriate pass.
- Maintain and clean exercise equipment.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Diffuse any potential problems involving facility users.
- Assist in examining facility for safety hazards and the cleaning of the rooms.
- Inform facility users of various Campus Recreation sponsored programs.
- Manage day passes, based on current policies and procedures.
- Must attend all facility staff meetings.
- Must attend mandatory staff training prior to semester starting.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled in at least six (6) academic credit hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service preferred.

Other Information
This is a part time position, no more than 19 hours per week.
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour.
